Me : “Good morning, Teh (miss). My name is Jona and if you don’t mind, I would ask you some questions about UPI. Do you have any time?”
Interviewee : “Sure, no problem”
Me : “First of all, could you please tell me about UPI’s background?”
Interviewee : “UPI was established in 1954 and located in Setiabudhi, Bandung. UPI has a variety of faculties, started by social faculties, languages and literature faculties, economics and business faculties, art faculties, sport faculties, and mathematic and science faculties. It also has about 30.000 students and I’m one of mathematic and science faculties student. I studied mathematics education.”
Me : “I see, and what’s special about UPI?”
Interviewee : “Basically faculties in UPI was divided unto 2 majors, pure and education. As an example in my faculty, mathematics. Mathematics faculty was consist by pure mathematics and mathematics education.”
Me : “Wow, so not all of you are going to be a teacher, right?”
Interviewee : “Yes. But most of us did”
Me : “Okay. Next question, what’s the most favorite faculty in UPI?”
Interviewee : “Biology education.”
Me : “Last but not least, what’s the motto of UPI?”
Interviewee : “Leading and Outstanding”
